There is a somewhat universal application called BitPim that is used to transfer files to locked phones such as yours. On an unlocked phone on a GSM network, transferring audio and video is just plug and play, but Verizon plays a bit differently...

Hello, I have been trying to do the new 2.2 root thing but have come across a problem when trying to install the ally drivers. All of them work except for the LG Mobile USB Modem which seems to be important because when I try to use the LGMobile Updater it says my phone is not connected to my computer when it clearly is. I am on Windows Vista and have tried many different things to get this to work because non rooted phones suck. I was wondering if anyone else had any similar problems and if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated! 27. You phone will now reboot. Three OTA updates should now be available for you to download. In order to force these, open up the Phone application and dial *#*#CHECKIN#*#*. You should then be prompted to reboot your phone after an update has finished downloading. Repeat this twice more until you have updated to software version VS740ZVC. Then continue to the next step. 28. Once updated to software version VS740ZVC, power off your phone. Now power on your phone while holding Send+Menu+End with the keyboard slid out. This will launch the recovery menu. As soon as the recovery menu loads, quickly press the home button on the slide out keyboard. If you did not press it quickly enough, your phone will reboot. Retry until a menu appears and you are presented with a list of options.
